Educate Girls

80% of school-aged Afghan girls and young women are out of school.

We have been championing girls’ education in Afghanistan since 2007. We partner with schools and institutes to provide quality education – including STEM – to Afghan girls, enabling them to build a better future for themselves and their communities.

We leverage our extensive experience and network within the country to ensure Afghan girls can continue their education. We do this by:

1. Providing online training in computer literacy, coding, and web development for university-level female students

2. Enabling access to primary education for girls through government-approved community-based education models.

Here's a snapshot of our impact so far

Girls across 16 schools have participated in Womanity’s life-changing educational programmes since 2007.

Primary school students expressed satisfaction with our courses in computer literacy, coding, and web development in 2023.

Students acknowledged the beneficial impact of the courses on shaping their future plans (2023).

“Going to school is our biggest happiness and we really love our class. Education is very important because it helps us to have a bright future and to live a comfortable life. I want to become a good doctor to serve my country and people.”
